Wow. What a powerful sculpture.
Sad.
i whispered to myself “how long do i have to scroll through the notes until i see someone misinterpret this as a statement on abortion instead of a miscarriage or being infertile”
The only thing is that you cannot misinterpret something. There is no such thing as a wrong interpretation. Only ones that cannot be supported. That is the beauty of art; it means something different to everyone who looks at it, or reads it, or hears it. So if someone looks at this and sees antiabortion, fine, it might just strike them as ten fold more powerful than if they had not. Same goes for the people who see it as miscarriage and infertility. It all comes down to the individual.
